ABOUT

"Sometimes on the way to your dream, you get lost and find a better one."

Wanting to be involved in the music industry early on, Jess sought her path while still in high school.. but there turned out to be more than one. The initial plan was to be an audio engineer. She moved to Orlando from the countryside of Alabama, graduated from Full Sail University with a bachelor of science in Recording Arts, and returned home to look for the music scene Alabama cities had to offer. After many stagehand, mixing, lighting, touring, recording, mastering, box office, hospitality, intern, you-name-it gigs, Jess came across a music journalism opportunity that she wasn't even interested in. After covering a few shows, she was hooked, particularly on the photography part. Now she takes her camera to concerts every chance she gets and hopes to get better every night. With the original photography outlet closing up shop, she is currently looking for a way to keep pursuing her new passion while continuing work as an audio engineer.
